The Role

We're looking for hands-on, security-minded IT Operations to own end-user IT, endpoint management, identity & access, and SaaS administration across our Bengaluru office and remote workforce.

You'll be the single point of accountability for IT service delivery — from new hire setup to SOC 2, ISO 27001, and customer security audit readiness. A high-ownership role for someone who loves building processes, automating the mundane, and raising the bar on security as we scale.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Endpoint & Device Management: Manage the complete Mac and Windows lifecycle, administer MDM (Jamf/Intune/Kandji) for security baselines, and maintain EDR and patch compliance.

• Identity, Access & SaaS: Administer core tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, 1Password), manage SSO (Okta/Google), and enforce JML workflows and access reviews.

• IT Service Desk: Own the helpdesk queue and SLAs, streamline onboarding/offboarding, and support AV for leadership meetings and customer demos.

• Network & Office IT: Manage office Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPNs, AV setups, and ensure ISP redundancy.

• Security & Compliance: Enforce controls and collect evidence for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits, partnering with InfoSec on incidents and DR testing.

• Vendor & Budget: Manage IT vendors, SLAs, cost optimization, and overall IT budget forecasting.

• Process & Automation: Document SOPs, automate repetitive tasks via scripts (Okta, Slack, GAS), and track key IT metrics like TAT and CSAT.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in IT Operations / Corporate IT / End-User Computing, preferably in a high-growth SaaS or product company.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (relevant certifications can substitute).

• Strong hands-on experience administering Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and modern SaaS stacks.

• Working knowledge of identity providers: Okta, Azure AD / Entra ID, or Google SSO — including SAML, SCIM, and MFA.

• Experience managing Mac and Windows fleets via MDM (Jamf, Intune, Kandji, or equivalent).

• Solid understanding of office networking: Wi-Fi, VLANs, firewalls, VPN — and AV/conferencing setups.

• Exposure to SOC 2 and/or ISO 27001 audits from an IT controls and evidence-gathering perspective.

• Strong scripting / automation comfort (Bash, PowerShell, or Python is a plus) and ITSM tooling (Jira Service Management, Freshservice, etc.).

• Excellent communication skills and a strong service mindset: you can explain technical issues clearly to non-technical employees.
