Mechanical Engineer – PDC & 2D Design
Experience

Qualification
  • Diploma/ B. Tech Mechanical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and release 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks in accordance with company and industry standards.
  • Support Pressure Die Casting (PDC) processes, including understanding of tooling, casting defects, and process parameters.
  • Work closely with production teams for aluminum die-cast components to ensure drawing accuracy and manufacturability.
  • Modify and update drawings based on shop-floor/Vendor feedback, design changes, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with quality and inspection teams to support dimensional checks and drawing clarifications.
  • Maintain proper engineering documentation and adhere to internal SOPs and ISO/quality standards.
Required Skills & Competencies
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Basic knowledge of Pressure Die Casting (PDC) processes.
  • Understanding of aluminum casting materials, defects, and post-casting operations.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing practices.
  • Ability to understand manufacturing constraints and practical design requirements.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
