Mechanical Engineer – PDC & 2D Design

Qualification
- Diploma/ B. Tech Mechanical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and release 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Support Pressure Die Casting (PDC) processes, including understanding of tooling, casting defects, and process parameters.
- Work closely with production teams for aluminum die-cast components to ensure drawing accuracy and manufacturability.
- Modify and update drawings based on shop-floor/Vendor feedback, design changes, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with quality and inspection teams to support dimensional checks and drawing clarifications.
- Maintain proper engineering documentation and adhere to internal SOPs and ISO/quality standards.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Basic knowledge of Pressure Die Casting (PDC) processes.
- Understanding of aluminum casting materials, defects, and post-casting operations.
- Familiarity with manufacturing practices.
- Ability to understand manufacturing constraints and practical design requirements.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
