Job description
We are looking for an experienced Senior PCB Design Engineer to spearhead the PCB design and production of our charger products. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in all aspects of PCB design and have a proven track record of successfully bringing products from concept to mass production.
This leadership role involves managing a team of PCB designers and working closely with the mechanical, software, and production teams to deliver the final product.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design circuits and validate them by prototyping before schematic capture
- Design and develop PCB layouts, including layer stack-up, material selection, and custom footprints.
- Create and maintain Altium component libraries while ensuring BoM optimization and appropriate component selection.
- Create layouts keeping EMI, EMC, SI, PI, and thermal aspects in mind.
- Prepare product documentation such as HW DFMEA, DFM, MTBF, etc
- Prepare complete production documentation (BoM, Gerber, pick-and-place, etc.) and support PCB manufacturing and production teams.
- Analyze design issues, recommend improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional product development teams and the Production Team.
- Assist in creating test procedures and provide technical support to verify PCB functionality and resolve design-related challenges.
Skills
- Hands-on experience in HW design and PCB SW tools
- Strong fundamentals of Electronic Component
- Strong knowledge of DFM Analysis.
- Aware of the common design rules as per the IPC standard
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PCB Designing and Hardware development
