About the team

You’ll be part of the team driving one of the most critical stages of the customer journey — onboarding. The Video KYC (VKYC) team ensures every verification is seamless, compliant, and built on strong risk foundations, combining speed with a customer-first approach.

About the role

As Assistant Manager - Video KYC, you’ll lead the VKYC operations team, ensuring high-quality onboarding and strong compliance standards. You’ll work closely with Credit, Risk, Compliance, and Product teams to deliver smooth verification journeys while minimizing operational and regulatory risks.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end VKYC operations and ensure smooth daily execution.
• Manage team performance, productivity, and quality benchmarks.
• Handle escalations and optimize workload, roster planning, and SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and internal KYC policies.
• Identify process gaps, reduce errors, and strengthen controls.
• Track KPIs, manage MIS, and share insights with leadership.
• Use data to improve processes, efficiency, and decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and train the team to build a high-performance culture.

What we're looking for

• 5–8 years of experience in VKYC, Banking, or Credit Operations with team handling.
• Strong knowledge of RBI KYC and Video KYC regulations.
• Experience managing team performance and operational KPIs.
• Good analytical skills and ability to identify risks and process gaps.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
