Role Overview: Responsible for Working capital management by driving inventory

optimization through inventory reporting, analytics & business reviews. The role

partners with Finance, Supply Chain, Category, Business and Operations teams to

ensure accurate reporting, identify inventory risks and drive data-led actions and

automation.

Key Responsibilities:Inventory Reporting & MIS: Own regular inventory MIS; ensure accuracy,

completeness and timely reporting; track inventory value, quantity, ageing,

movement and key variances.

Monthly Business Reviews: Conduct monthly reviews with Business POCs;

align and validate reported numbers, resolve discrepancies and track agreed

action plans to closure.

Inventory Analytics & Actions: Drive analytics and corrective actions across

Non-Moving (NM), Slow-Moving (SM), Near-Expiry, Liquidation, Non-

Saleable, SOR and Active/Inactive inventory.

Working Capital & Inventory Health: Monitor ageing, excess and obsolete

inventory; identify root causes and support initiatives to improve inventory

turns, reduce ageing and optimize working capital.

Automation & Simplification: Automate recurring inventory reports and

dashboards, reduce manual intervention, standardize reporting and improve

turnaround time and data quality.

Stakeholder Management: Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain,

Category, Operations and Business teams to provide actionable insights and

ensure timely closure of inventory-related issues.

Key Deliverables / KPIs:Accuracy and timeliness of inventory MIS.

Reduction in NM/SM, Near-Expiry, Excess and Non-Saleable inventory.

Improvement in inventory ageing, inventory turns and working capital.

Closure of monthly business action plans and reduction in reporting disputes.

Automation of recurring reports and reduction in manual reporting effort.

Skills & Experience:CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) with 1-2 years of post qualification experience.

Strong understanding of Inventory Management, Working Capital and Finance

MIS.

Advanced MS Excel / Google Sheets and strong analytical skills.

Experience in dashboards, reporting automation and large datasets.

Strong stakeholder management, business partnering and communication

skills.

Preferred Experience In Inventory Finance, Business Finance, Supply Chain

Finance, Retail, E-commerce, FMCG or CPG.
