Senior Manager PM Procurement
Location : Vikhroli, Mumbai (In-office)
Team : 4–5 direct reports
Role Overview
Lead end-to-end packaging procurement strategy, planning, and execution for over 1,500 SKUs across 6+ Purplle Private Brands in personal care and cosmetics. Ensure cost-efficient, sustainable, and high-quality packaging solutions that enhance brand value.
Key Responsibilities
Bachelor’s in Engineering/Packaging Technology; MBA in Supply Chain or related field preferred.

Willingness to travel for supplier visits, audits, and industry events.

Role Overview
Lead end-to-end packaging procurement strategy, planning, and execution for over 1,500 SKUs across 6+ Purplle Private Brands in personal care and cosmetics. Ensure cost-efficient, sustainable, and high-quality packaging solutions that enhance brand value.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategy for all packaging types – bottles, tubes, laminates, labels, cartons, corrugated boxes, pouches, etc.
- Source, evaluate, and manage high-performance suppliers; drive innovation and cost optimization.
- Lead vendor negotiations and finalize contracts to achieve best value without quality compromise.
- Drive sustainability initiatives with eco-friendly packaging materials and processes.
- Oversee day-to-day procurement ensuring OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with marketing, R&D, quality, and operations for NPDs and product refreshes.
- Track supplier performance via audits, scorecards, and continuous improvement programs.
- 5+ years in procurement/packaging sourcing in FMCG, cosmetics, or e-commerce.
- Strong knowledge of plastics, laminates, paperboard, printing processes.
- Experience managing large SKU portfolios and multi-brand environments.
- Proven vendor management and contract negotiation expertise.
- Technical: Packaging materials, sourcing strategies, ERP tools, costing, budgeting.
- Soft: Negotiation, stakeholder management, leadership, analytical thinking, collaboration.
Bachelor’s in Engineering/Packaging Technology; MBA in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
