About Purplle

Purplle is scaling high-growth private labels like Alps Goodness, DermDoc, Faces Canada and Nybae through a content-first influencer engine. Influencer marketing is one of our strongest growth levers, and we're building out a team structure for our private label brands where this role will own a specific geography-product charter end-to-end — both through personal execution and by leading a team.

Role Overview

As Assistant Manager – Influencer Marketing, you will own a defined geography and 2–3 products for 1 brand. This is a dual-mandate role: you will personally execute high-quality campaigns and lead a team of 4–5 executives, training them to replicate your standards at scale. You'll be measured on team output, content quality, timelines, and — ultimately — the business and marketing impact your charter delivers.

Role Overview: What You'll Own

You will be the single point of accountability for influencer marketing across your assigned geography and 2–3 products. This includes setting the creator strategy, the content calendar, and the KPIs (views, engagement, search uplift, geo momentum, revenue indicators) your charter is judged on.

You will hire, train, and manage a team of 4–5 executives — teaching them how to scout creators, negotiate commercials, write briefs, and review content to the same bar you hold yourself to. Your job is to multiply your own execution ability through your team, not just execute individually.

You (and your team, under your guidance) will actively scout creators on YouTube and Instagram, evaluating them on language, geography, audience relevance, engagement quality, and content style — expanding the existing database and identifying creators who can become repeat, long-term brand partners.

You will negotiate within defined benchmarks, aligning on deliverables, timelines, content formats, and expectations — ensuring clarity on both creative and commercial fronts, for your own campaigns and your team's.

You will share structured briefs covering product information, messaging direction, hook suggestions, mandatory callouts, and CTAs. You will coordinate product dispatch, track timelines, manage follow-ups, and oversee the full content cycle from script alignment to final submission — both personally and across your team's campaigns.

For your own campaigns and your entire team's output, you will review each video against internal quality benchmarks — checking messaging accuracy, hook strength, CTA placement, and brand alignment. You will manage revisions and give final approval, ensuring quality doesn't dilute as output scales.

You will scale your charter's output to 50+ influencer videos per month *individually and 250 +across your team, while protecting quality, turnaround time, and cost efficiency. You're expected to build repeatable systems — not just push more volume.

Post go-live, you will track views, engagement, search uplift, geo momentum, and revenue indicators for your charter. You will identify repeat performers, flag underperforming formats, and refine strategy based on data — and you will be directly accountable for the marketing and business impact of your geography-product combination.

Beyond output, you will be evaluated on how you lead — your ability to develop your team members, collaborate cross-functionally with peers, and maintain a high-trust, high-accountability team culture. This is a leadership role as much as an execution one.

Who Will Thrive in This Role

  • Candidates who have managed a team and delivered content/growth outcomes for brands or agencies are top priority.
  • We strongly prefer candidates who have created content themselves — if you've built and grown your own Instagram page or YouTube channel organically, you'll be prioritized. A benchmark of ~10,000 Instagram followers or 5,000 YouTube subscribers signals strong understanding, but what matters more is your ability to clearly explain how you grew it.
  • Candidates who deeply understand content and brand marketing — not just campaign logistics — will have an edge. This means knowing what makes a hook work, why a format performs, and how content ties back to brand positioning and revenue.
  • Fluency in a language beyond Hindi, English, and Marathi will be a strong preference — especially South Indian languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam) or Bengali, Odia, or other regional/Indian languages. This directly unlocks regional creator scouting and market dominance.
  • This is an in-office, 5-day-a-week role based out of Vikhroli (Embassy 247), Mumbai.
  • We are looking for someone thinking long-term — someone who wants to build and own a category over 2–3+ years, not a short-term stint. Growth in this track is real and fast for those who stay the course.

Growth Path

  • Leadership track: Move into senior Influencer Marketing leadership — owning multiple teams, strategy, and larger campaign portfolios.
  • Creative track: If you're creatively sharp, step into scriptwriting, concept development, and studio-led content with our in-house studio.
  • Business track: If you think like a business owner, grow into Category Management — closer to full brand ownership.

You grow in the direction you earn.
