Role Overview

We are looking for a Manager – Sales to drive new business for IDfy’s Background Verification (BGV)

solutions.

This is a pure hunting role — focused on cold outreach, new logo acquisition, and consistent pipeline

generation. You will own the full sales cycle, from identifying the right prospects to closing deals and ensuring

commercial closure.

If you enjoy building something from scratch, talking to senior stakeholders, and selling value-driven solutions

(not commodity products),this role is for you.

We are the perfect match if...

  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B Sales, preferably in BGV or a related domain
  • Prior experience selling Background Verification / HRTech / Compliance / Risk solutions
  • MBA (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Exposure to enterprise or mid-market B2B sales environments
  • Proven experience in hunting roles with cold outreach and new logo wins
  • Strong ability to sell to senior stakeholders and hold confident, business-first conversations
  • Comfortable owning the entire sales cycle with minimal supervision
  • Sharp understanding of solution selling vs product pitching
  • Ability to think structurally about who to sell to, why, and how
  • Disciplined about pipeline management, account planning, and follow-through

Here’s What Your Day Will Look Like...

  • Drive new customer acquisition for IDfy’s BGV solutions
  • Execute cold outreach across channels — email, LinkedIn, calls, referrals
  • Identify and engage the right ICP and buyer personas (HR Heads, TA Leaders, Compliance, Ops)
  • Independently plan and execute GTM motions to meet monthly and quarterly targets
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with continuous lead generation
  • Conduct end-to-end product demos and handle objections without requiring a product team in the room
  • Pitch BGV not just as “employee checks” but as value-led, risk-mitigation and trust solutions
  • Customize conversations based on use cases, scale, industry, and hiring models
  • Support payment follow-ups in case of delays, in coordination with internal teams
  • Maintain a clean and structured Named Account List (TAL / TAM) for the financial year
  • Ensure strong sales hygiene — CRM updates, pipeline visibility, and conversion tracking
