SDR /Inside Sales Specialist
Role Summary
Generate and qualify leads through outbound prospecting, and schedule product demos/intro meetings for the sales team. This is a high-activity role with clear daily targets and measurable outcomes.
Key Targets
- 4 Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) per month
- 50+ cold calls per day
- 125–150 outbound emails per day
- Participation in trade shows and industry events
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Research target markets, industries, and potential customers to identify qualified prospects
- Engage leads in discovery conversations to understand their business needs and use cases
- Present product value clearly, focusing on how it addresses each prospect's specific challenges
- Qualify leads against defined criteria and schedule product demos for the sales team
- Follow up consistently to move leads through the pipeline and maintain deal momentum
- Log all activity, leads, and opportunities accurately in Salesforce
- Build and execute outbound email campaigns using tools such as Lusha, Apollo, or LGM
- Attend trade shows and industry events to network and generate new leads
- Track and report on outreach activity, pipeline progress, and lead quality metrics
- Stay current on product updates, competitive landscape, and industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales, SDR, or a similar outbound role
- Proven ability to hit or exceed activity and pipeline targets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable making high volumes of cold calls and sending large-scale email campaigns
- Proficient in Salesforce CRM; experience with ZoomInfo, Lusha, Apollo, Salesloft (or equivalent) is a plus
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
